[From the 7/21/25 newsletter]

We went with our friends Chris and Lance to the newly revamped Fedora on Friday night and had a lot of fun.

I’ve been trying to drink less since my Parkinson’s diagnosis, but my doctor says I can drink “moderately,” so when everyone ordered the signature martini, I didn’t want to be a spoilsport — especially since there’s a whole article written about it.

It’s made with Sherry and has a smooth finish to it that made it very easy — maybe even too easy — to drink.

The food at Fedora was excellent. My friend Chris who loves modeling for food pictures as much as he loves the food helped gobble up these fantastic pierogis:

And the Chicken Cordon Bleu was the best version of that dish you’re likely to have. For dessert, we all shared the carrot cake which was wearing a little fedora of icing.
