Cafe Luxembourg

Last night we joined our pals Andy and Jenny Rosenstrach for a star-studded dinner at Café Luxembourg.

Now only was Roger Bart from The Producers sitting behind Jenny, but Nathan Lane was sitting behind me and Craig!

I’d wanted to go to Café Luxembourg since I read about it in Keith McNally’s book and I’ve got to say it’s my new favorite of his restaurants. It’s the most intimate, the least touristy, and the food was excellent. We started with the shrimp cocktail and the endive/little gem Caesar:

Then Craig and I both had the tuna burger with some of the best fries I’ve had in a long time.

And for dessert? An ice cream sandwich with fresh mint ice cream. This is a genius dessert, especially in the summer.

Another great night in New York City.
